Our skin releases natural oils to keep it self-moisturized. And it is very essential for our skin health.
But the people with oily skin have bigger pores and because of this the oil glands are more active and they release more natural oils. And this leads to the problem of oily skin.
If you have oily skin, you should not use heavy moisturizers.
Combination skin is a combination of both oily and dry skin.
This skin type changes seasonally. This skin is oily in summer and dry in winter.
You can use both oily and dry skincare routine seasonally if you have this skin type.
Dry skin also acts as sensitive skin.
People who have sensitive skin suffer from problems like acne, burning, itchy rashes, etc.
If you have sensitive skin, you should avoid using harsh and heavy beauty care products. These kinds of products can damage your skin.
Normal Skin is a skin type that doesn’t have any kind of adverse effect on other skincare routines.
If you have a normal skin type, you don’t need to worry much about your skincare routine. You can implement whichever skincare routine you like.
Best Skin Care Routine For Youngsters
1. Cleanse Your Skin Properly
The first step you should do in the morning is to wash your face. If you have oily skin, you might have to clean it twice a day because of the extra secretion of natural oil.
Don’t rub your skin too aggressively because it can damage your skin or irritate it.
I would suggest that you should use a mild cleanser or face wash instead of soap. Because soap is not designed for washing our face.
2. Moisturize or Apply Serum
Moisturizers or serums play an important role in transforming your skin from dry and rough to soft and more radiant.
But you should choose moisturizers according to the season. There are different moisturizers available according to the season in the market.
3. Exfoliate Weekly
Exfoliating your skin helps in getting rid of acne and blackheads.
Exfoliate your skin once a week using soft and gentle products. Don’t use a scrub, it will over-exfoliate your skin.
Beauty care products can also get easily infected if you share it with anyone who has an infection.
If your friend’s skin is infected with acne or some skin disease and you share your products with them, chances are you will catch their infection too.
5. Keep Your Hands Clean
People have a habit of touching their skin with their hands. And if the hands are dirty or contain germs, the germs transmit from their hands to skin. Due to this, they suffer from skin disease problems.

6. Don’t Believe Every Homemade Treatment
You might have experienced or heard advice from some people that to cure acne you should apply toothpaste on your skin.
You should not try this kind of treatment because as I mentioned earlier everybody has a different kind of skin.
If you try this kind of treatment chances are you could make it worse and some people are allergic to the ingredients present in toothpaste.
7. Drink Plenty Of Water
As you know that approximately 60% of our body is made up of water. Humans can’t survive without water.
You might have noticed that the people who drink more water have glowing skin. There are multiple benefits of water in skincare. So start drinking as much water as you can.
If you find it hard to drink just simple water, you can make lemonade and drink it.
8. Use Sunscreen
It doesn’t matter how much you take care of your skin if you don’t wear sunscreen in sunlight.
Your whole hard work in making your skin look good can vanish in just 10-15 minutes in heavy sunlight without sunscreen on your skin. Your skin may get tanned or you might get sunburn because of sunlight.
I would recommend using sunscreen which has SPF 30-45 or more.
9. Eat More Fruit
Many people have bad skin because they have some kind of nutrient deficiency. And this is because they are not eating healthy food.
The people who eat more fried and junk food have more skin related problems.
You should eat more fruits in your day-to-day life. This way you can help your skin as well as keep your body healthy.
You can also drink herbal teas which are very beneficial for your skin because they are a rich source of antioxidants.
10. Try Doing Facial
If you are following this skincare routine you should try facials too. Sometimes your skin might need a taste of refreshment which a facial can provide.
Try facial kits that have natural ingredients in them. Some facial kits have harmful chemicals and substances in them which can damage your skin instead of making it good.
11. Consult A Doctor
If you are having serious skin related problems then you should consult a dermatologist.
A doctor can give you the right advice and skincare routine based on the type of skin you have.
